Mickey has been photographing professionally since 1992. She is a graduate of the Photojournalism program at the International Center for Photography in New York City. Her work has been published in magazines and newspapers across the country including ELLE, NEW YORK MAGAZINE and THEATER WEEK. Currently based in New York City Mickey brings a unique approach to her photography sessions. Working from the viewpoint that every human being has their own individual quality and essence, the sessions become a collaboration between Mickey and the client. With a concentration on capturing a "perfect moment" when all of the energies of the subject and photographer come together. The result is an image that contains the "real and unique personality" of the subject. Regardless of the subject matter the work conveys a beauty, honesty and passion.
